Read the meditation slowly

This written reflection is an original companion practice prepared for Brahma Kumaris Philippines around the same theme. It is not a verbatim transcript of Sister Jayanti's recording.

I sit in the awareness of myself as a soul and turn the mind toward the Supreme.

I imagine a relationship in which I do not need to earn love by pretending to be perfect.

The Supreme Father sees the original goodness and potential within the soul.

I allow myself to receive that benevolent regard. I let the mind become quiet enough to accept love rather than argue with it.

I create the thought: happiness is not selfish when it comes from purity, truth and inner freedom.

I release one sorrowful thought that I have been carrying as though it were my identity.

I return to the day with the feeling that spiritual love gives me strength to live well and to give happiness to others.
