Website Privacy Notice

A privacy-by-design approach for meditation learning, centre enquiries and website services.

Status

brahmakumarisph.com is formally approved for official BKPSFI use.

This notice implements the privacy direction in the August 2026 BKPSFI governance draft. Formal Data Protection Officer details and final organisational privacy contacts will be added after BKPSFI confirms them.

Information collected

You do not need to identify yourself simply to read meditation material or use public pages. Personal information is collected only when you choose to provide it, for example through a centre enquiry, booking, newsletter subscription or optional progress-saving feature.

Depending on the service, this may include your name, email address, phone number, centre/program choice and the message or information you submit.

Why information is used

Information you voluntarily provide is used only for the purpose connected with your request: responding to an enquiry, managing a booking, sending a requested meditation update, maintaining an optional learning record, or administering a related BKPSFI service. It is not sold or rented to advertisers.

Analytics and local browser storage

The site may count aggregate page activity and meditation interactions to understand which content is useful. V8.9 is designed to avoid persistent browser identifiers being sent to the server for visitor profiling.

Practice streaks, course progress or preferences may be stored locally in your browser. Local progress remains on your device unless you deliberately choose a server-based feature such as email progress saving.

Retention

  • Contact enquiries: retained only as long as reasonably needed and targeted for removal no more than six months after resolution.
  • Event registration information: targeted for removal no more than one year after the event unless there is a legitimate reason to retain it longer.
  • Newsletter information: retained while the subscription remains active and as needed to honour unsubscribe requests.
  • Photos and videos: reviewed periodically for continuing relevance and permission.

Children and young people

The website should not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. For participation/data involving people under 18, parental or guardian consent should be obtained where required by BKPSFI policy and the nature of the activity.

Third-party services

If the site uses external services such as maps, email delivery or embedded media, those providers may process information under their own privacy terms. The site should use third parties only where necessary and appropriate for the service provided.

Your privacy rights

Philippine data subjects have rights including being informed about processing and, where applicable, requesting access, correction, objection, erasure/blocking and data portability. A formal BKPSFI Data Protection Officer/contact point will be published here once confirmed.

Data security

Website information should be restricted to authorised people and protected using appropriate access controls. This V8.9 release does not change existing account passwords; account-security upgrades can be introduced separately after the current operational phase.
