Read the meditation slowly
I sit comfortably and let my breathing be natural. There is nothing to force and nothing to achieve.
My attention gently moves away from the outer world and toward the quiet observer within.
I imagine myself as a tiny point of conscious light in the centre of the forehead — the soul, the one who sees through the eyes and thinks through the mind.
Peace is not something I have to manufacture from nothing. I allow it to emerge as I reduce unnecessary thought.
I create one thought slowly: I am a peaceful soul. I do not rush to the next thought. I let this one settle.
From this inner stillness I send a peaceful attitude toward the people and situations around me. I do not need to control them in order to remain peaceful.
I finish with the intention to return to this inner point several times during the day.
