Reset With a Positive Focus

1 minPositive Thinking

A short mental reset for moments when the mind is becoming negative or stuck on a problem. The practice is not about denying difficulty; it is about choosing a more useful direction for thought.

What this meditation can help you practise

  • Interrupt repetitive negative thinking.
  • See challenges with greater perspective.
  • Begin the next part of the day with a clearer mental direction.

Read the meditation slowly

This written reflection is an original companion practice prepared for Brahma Kumaris Philippines around the same theme. It is not a verbatim transcript of Sister Jayanti's recording.

I pause for one minute.

I notice what my mind has been repeating and I ask: is this thought helping me move forward?

I do not deny the problem, but I stop feeding it with the same heavy reaction.

I choose a new angle. A difficulty can become a challenge. A mistake can become information. A delay can become a moment to prepare.

I create one constructive thought about what I can do next.

My mind becomes lighter because I am directing it rather than being dragged by it.

I continue the day with a positive focus.
