Guided Raja Yoga meditation · BK Jayanti
Experiencing the Treasure of Joy Within
5 minHappiness
A meditation for reconnecting with the quiet happiness that does not depend entirely on circumstances. It gently shifts attention from what is missing to the value and goodness already present within the self.

Read the meditation slowly
I give myself permission to stop carrying the entire day for a few minutes.
I become aware of the soul — the quiet self behind the activity, the memories and the roles.
I gently set aside the thought that happiness must arrive from somewhere outside me. I remember that peace, love and joy are qualities I can awaken within.
I notice one good quality in myself: perhaps patience, courage, kindness, sincerity or the wish to improve. I allow myself to value it without comparison.
I let old scenes lose their grip. The past does not need to occupy every part of the present moment.
I create one clean thought: there is something beautiful and worthwhile within me. I can protect and nourish that inner treasure.
I return to the day lighter, carrying quiet appreciation rather than demand.
